Name Game

I got this CWOT from my good friend Julia -- check out her results at her blog. (The link trail traces it back to Kazoofus.com.)

Basically, this is about discovering all your "alter-egos" based on the parameters given. Feel free to weigh in with all your new discoveries.

Here's my results:

1. YOUR ROCK STAR NAME (first pet, current car): Ralph Accord ("Ralph Town & Country" was wrong on too many levels, not the least of which was actually copping to owning a mini-van...)

2. YOUR GANGSTA NAME (fave ice cream flavor, favorite type of shoe): Cookie Dough Crocs

3. YOUR NATIVE AMERICAN NAME (favorite color, favorite animal): Blue Bulldog

4. YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME (middle name, city where you were born): Philip Newport-Beach (Had to hyphenate it...)

5. YOUR STAR WARS NAME (the first three letters of your last name, first two of your first name): Barjo (weak)

6. SUPERHERO NAME (2nd favorite color, favorite drink): Green Screwdriver (Trying to envision the costume...)

7. NASCAR NAME (the first names of your grandfathers): John Oliver (Shake 'n Bake!)

8. STRIPPER NAME ( the name of your favorite perfume/cologne/scent, favorite candy): Fahrenheit Snickers (WTF?!)

9. TV WEATHER ANCHOR NAME (your fifth grade teacher’s last name, a major city that starts with the same letter): Dyson Dallas (Not certain on the teacher's name -- that was, like, 30 years ago!)

10. SPY NAME (your favorite season/holiday, flower): Festivus Fresia (Festivs -- for the rest of us! And the flower's my wife's favorite. I'm a dude, after all.)

11. CARTOON NAME (favorite fruit, article of clothing you’re wearing right now): Nectarine Paintershorts

12. HIPPIE NAME (What you ate for breakfast, your favorite tree): Oatmeal Birch

Today's Poll -- AC/DC!

I was pondering this in the car the other day as I was listening to "AC/DC Radio" on XM. (They have a whole channel dedicated to the band for a month. About a month or so ago it was Coldplay (yikes!)). Anyway, I got to thinking: who was the better lead singer?

Bon Scott...

...or Brian Johnson?

Bon made his masterpiece ("Highway To Hell") and literally died. Brian made his masterpiece ("Back In Black") and then creatively died (can anyone name a GREAT AC/DC album after "Back In Black"?).

I defy you to weigh in.

The Legend of Jack Rebney

Probably the greatest perfomance to grace videotape. An accidental masterpiece.

Say what you will about the generous helping of f-bombs, but you have to admit, they ARE heartfelt.

I give you WINNEBAGO GUY.

Is it just me...

...or does Suze Orman always look like she's had one too many triple espressos?
